Lucas Cates is a 25 year-old singer/songwriter from Madison, Wisconsin who just recently released his debut album "Contradictory" on PopBomb Records.  He and his band have been playing to sold out shows around the Madison area and have broken into Triple A radio on 105.5 Triple M FM.

Lucas has been called a "young Midwestern Elvis Costello."  Stylistically he and his band have been compared to John Mayer, Dave Mathews, Jack Johnson (with more energy) and Rob Thomas with Carlos Santana.

Lucas' focus for Madison Bride is primarily on two- to three-hour solo shows which include not only his wonderful array of original material, but also foot-tapping and slow-dancing cover songs.
